DEVELOPING AN EXPENSES CALCULATOR WEBSITE
MyBasket is a passion project by a money-savvy duo, with the aim of empowering Singaporeans to discover how inflation works and practical ways to counter it. To do this, they needed an extensive yet easy to understand expense and inflation calculator to help Singaporeans simplify the tedious task of calculating their inflation with a quick click of a button.
Custom-Made Inflation Calculator
MyBasket envisioned an interactive and engaging inflation calculator that can educate its viewers about how rising inflation in Singapore is affecting everyone in many different ways. To do this, we created a holistic and in-depth calculator to allow users track and manage their personal inflation based on different living factors such as food, housing & utilities, transport and many more. Additionally, to comprehensively show how inflation has risen over the years, users are able to simply adjust the month slider; along with statistics and actionable insights.
Informative and Educational Results Section
On top of the Inflation calculator, MyBasket needed a results page that could efficiently explain in a more simplified manner. To aid users on their journey to being more money-savvy, they also wanted users to explore how they can save by choosing where to cut down on other expenditures.
