UI UX INTERNSHIPSPRING 2024
Hi I’m Timothy, I was given the opportunity to intern at Oangle from March to May of 2024! Throughout my experience here, I learnt about many different things about what working in a web development agency is like. I also had the chance to work with the many amazing people in the company, which I learnt a lot from! This page will showcase my experience as a whole, hope you get something out of it!

MY EXPERIENCES
MARCH
Starting out, I was not sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the kind and welcoming people at Oangle. Over the next few weeks I picked the nitty gritty of the role as a UI UX designer. There were many things I had to learn such a WordPress plugin called Elementor which I had no prior knowledge of.
APRIL
Getting used to the role and helping out here and there. I started getting more responsibilities and designs to work on. It was challenging, but "no pain no gain” right.
I learnt how to work more efficiently and also discovered some areas of improvement for my communication skills.
MAY
Now, getting to the end of my time at Oangle. I tied up loose ends and made my time as productive as I could. At my last week of internship, I had to present my time at Oangle to everyone in the office; what a nerve- wracking experience!

RETROSPECTION
My time here at Oangle was interesting and productive. I think I learnt a lot about office life and expectations in work life. Overall I learnt a lot throughout the 3 months I have been here and have gained my insights that would not have been possible without the exposure to the design industry that Oangle has provided me and will be sure to apply the knowledge I have gained in Oangle to my school for my final year project and also in my future career.
